YOUR PRODUCT CONTENT

CAN BE BETTER.

It doesn’t have to be bland.
It doesn’t have to be “on white.”
It doesn’t have to be static.
It doesn’t have to be clean.

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.

D2C has been a thing for a minute, yet consumers are still stuck with the same old plain, bland, nondescript imagery.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

WITH THE RIGHT STRATEGIES IN PLACE, IT’S POSSIBLE TO INCREASE QUALITY AT SCALE.

Empire Green was founded on the demands of some of the world’s biggest brands.

From day one, we’ve been tasked with elevating product content above and beyond the norm.

We work with each client individually, creating custom creative direction that aligns with their brand’s identity.

We then bring that direction to life by producing compelling photo and video content.

What makes us different

  • We develop custom creative and art direction, tailored to echo the overall vibe of your brand.

  • We operate efficiently and stay close to our clients. We keep our core team small, then scale up as needed, per project.

  • We’ve got options. We can work with you on a one-off, per-project basis, or set up a longer-term, ongoing model.

OUR STARTING POINT

Three core beliefs that transform basic product content into brand-defining work:

N0. 1
ELEVATED ART DIRECTION

Viewing a product on its display page is often the last look a consumer takes before completing their order. Why leave that impression to chance? We emphasize the importance of rich, emotive art direction that shows the details and textures you need to know before you buy.

NO. 2
a.i. assistance

We leverage generative A.I. to elevate content with greater efficiency. This is a developing pillar of our business as methods and capabilities change rapidly. It’s our intention to embrace what we can achieve today, and explore what we can do tomorrow.

NO. 3
BROADER USE = BETTER ROI

Your content should work hard for you. If the quality of creative is high enough, we believe it can be woven into brand channels beyond e-comm, increasing your assets’ mileage.

THE TRIFECTA OF CAPTURE CATEGORIES

We capture content in three ways:

  • A maroon SITKA puffer jacket with a logo on the chest that says "SITKA" and features a stylized feather or wing design, against a neutral background.

    ISOLATED

Products in isolation, usually against a clean background. No models or environmental context.

  • A confident man wearing a green waterproof GORE-TEX jacket and yellow-tinted sunglasses adjusting his sleeve against a plain neutral background.

    WITH MODEL

Products on or with a model for greater fit, form, and use context. Typically against a clean background.

  • A low-angle photo of a man standing outdoors, wearing a black Nike jacket and beige Nike pants, with modern Nike Philip H. Knight Campus architectural buildings in the background.

    ELEVATED

Greater context and/or experimental art direction. Conveys deeper storytelling and use-case around the product in its natural environment.

OUR APPROACH IS CUSTOM-BUILT FOR EVERY CLIENT. LET’S FIND OUT WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOU.

THE ONES RESPONSIBLE

We’re a small team (of real people!) based in Portland, Oregon. We have worked closely with the biggest footwear and apparel brands in the world. We’ve gained years of experience producing premium content by redefining what brands look and feel like.
